Rabiga Sultan Begim Mausoleum

Rabiga Sultan Begim was a great-grand daughter of the Turco-Mongol conqueror Timur and the wife of Abyl Khair Khan, a 15th century leader of the Uzbek Khanate.

The small mausoleum has a tiled turquoise dome and is a replica of the 15th century original, which was demolished in 1898. Entrance is through a lovely rose garden.

Abyl Khair Khan, who was killed in the 1468 in a battle, put the finishing touches to the structure, including the distinct brickwork at the top of the arch.
