  • Do your tours include international airfare?

    Since travelers from all over the world arrive to join our tours, it is not technically possible to include international airfare at the beginning and at the end of these tours in our prices. Depending on which tour you decide to join, you will have to arrange your international flights on your own. 

    Domestic flights in Turkey, international flights from Turkey to Azerbaijan and from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan will be covered according to which tour (grand tour or combination of at least two countries) you will decide to join.

  • What time can I check in at my arrival hotel?

    The check-in times can vary from hotel to hotel and region to region. Generally, they are between mid-day and 2 pm.

  • What are the room types? / Do I need to pay single supplement?

    The room types are standard double twin. If you desire to stay in the room alone, you need to pay single supplement.

  • How many people will be on my trip?

    The size of the groups (min. 12-max. 42) is to be arranged depending on the interest to the tours. However, on most of the trips it is planned that you will be part of an intimate group of 22-26 people.

  • What essential documents do I need to take during my trip?

    It’s important that you always travel with your current passport, visas, travel insurance and tour documentation.

  • Is it possible to do just a part of the trip?

    The whole tour (grand tour) includes the trips to four countries Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. However, you can also have the chance to visit each country separately or in combination of two or three, in line with the schedule prepared for the grand tour.

    Those who will attend the country tours (separately or in combination of at least two countries) are kindly requested to pay attention to the tour program (especially the starting hours) and arrange their international flights/check-in accordingly.

  • Can I make any changes to the itinerary of my group trip, either before or during the trip?

    It is not possible to make any changes to the itineraries of the grand tour and the country tours (separately or in combination of at least two countries).

    For tailor-made tours designed for special groups (a group of friends, colleagues, etc.) itinerary changes are possible. You are kindly asked to contact us for such a request through “Make Your Own Tour” section of the website.

  • Can I opt out of certain activities if I want to?

    Yes, you can opt out of certain activities in the program apart from the transfers to destinations determined in the tour program. Yet, you have to note that if you choose to withdraw from an activity already included in the tour program, no reimbursement will be made by the tour agency.

  • What type of luggage do you recommend I take?

    Each airline has specific rules about luggage allowances – so, please check directly with them via their websites or of different sort.

  • What will the food be like?

    National and local cuisine will be offered to you during the trips. Keep in mind that some food may be rich in flavors and meat often forms an integral part of the local diet in the countries that you will visit. You will also have the chance to see the ways of making some traditional food during your trip.

  • I’m a vegetarian or have special dietary needs, is that a problem?

    No problem. Just let us know in advance so that we can inform our local tour agencies. That way, they can make sure you are looked after in the local restaurants.

  • Do I need to take any medical supply?

    We recommend you to carry personal medical items for managing common minor ailments such as colds, diarrhea, blisters and sore throats, etc. Travelers who take regular medication should bring their appropriate medical supplies with them.

  • Will there be any hygiene constraints during the trips?

    During most trips your will have regular access to western toilets. Yet, in the remote places such as rural areas you are less likely to find western bathroom facilities. Therefore, please kindly be alert of this fact and carry the necessary sanitary/hygiene accessories with you.

  • What clothes and footwear should I take with me?

    Depending on which tour package you choose your need for suitable clothes and shoes may vary. So, please check the weather conditions prior to joining tour and prepare your luggage accordingly. We suggest you to take a raincoat and polar outfit in your luggage when going to places like Tian Shan Mountains of Kyrgyzstan which might be colder even in spring and summer times.

  • How do I find out about the visa requirements for the trip I am interested in?

  • How do I organize my Visa?

    Please contact the relevant local embassy or consulate to organize your visa/s. Note that there are certain companies in your countries facilitating visa services. It is best to get visas sorted in advance since processing them can take time.

  • Do I need travel insurance?

    Travel insurance is highly recommended for all the tour travelers and should be taken out at the time of booking.

  • Will my mobile work? / Will there be an internet access during the trips?

    Roaming service is available in the countries that you will visit. However, in rural areas or remote places you might have limited coverage. In case of need or emergency, you can also pick up a local SIM Card.

    Generally, there is no problem regarding the internet access and coverage in the countries you are going to visit. Most of the hotels, restaurants, pubs, etc. have free Wi-Fi service. Yet, in some remote places especially in the countryside there might be limited internet coverage.

  • Which plugs and adapters to use when traveling?

    The countries of the region operate on 220 volts, 50 Hz, with round-prong European-style plugs that fit into recessed wall sockets /points.
